The Pacific Rugby Premiership (PRP) was established in 2013 . Per Sion Williams of the PRP "The purpose of the PRF is to offer competition for the highest caliber of rugby in the USA. Comprising of seven teams from cities across the western region, we represent over 100 years of rugby heritage. The development of the PRP marks the next phase in elevating US Rugby to a truly national and international platform".
In its first year of competition the participating Clubs were Belmont Shore, Denver Barbarians, Glendale Raptors, Olympic Club, OMBAC, San Francisco Golden Gate, Santa Monica
The 2014 Championship game which was played on May 17th was won by San Francisco Golden Gate b(39) beating the Glendale Raptors (38). You couldn't ask for a better final.
